I'm going to be in London from the 6th July for 4 weeks. I will probably go home for a weekend in the middle. I can't wait to start. I'm fed up with the job I'm in and I'm counting down the days.

There's always a tense moment between replacing the back of my laptop and when it boots up. Seems fine - so far!

I had my appointment with the neurologist, who is still unsure what I have. So sent me off for a MRI. I’d never had one before and found out I’m not claustrophobic. I may have let it be known I'm a geek. Two of the guys in work were talking about Star Trek and the new film. They didn't know the name of Spock's father so of course I had to tell them.

I really should go to bed and sleep but I don't feel properly unwound from work yet. That's the trouble with doing overtime until 8 then having to be back in work at 7.

Though if I switched off my PC and tried to sleep that might help.

The new battery arrived today everything seems fine at the moment I'm just waiting for it to switch itself off. I think the fan is at fault and have Fujitsu on speed-dial. Is it wrong that I'm hoping it is the fan just so I can tell my dad I told you so ( Read more... )

After spending all day working on a presentation I have decided I loathe and despise PowerPoint.

I had to follow a set format so I could even personalise it. Thankfully I only have to work 3 days this week. I have an extra long weekend to hide and cry under my bed.

You know it's time to take a break from work when you have to restrain yourself from throwing your PC at someone.
